2020 BOOKING IN PROCEDURE
Cranwell Bloodhounds Rider/Supporter
Covid-19 Secure Guidelines
PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING IN
The Hunting Office has circulated advice to Hunts on how we can start our Season in a safe and socially responsible manner, whilst operating within the current Government Guidelines.
It is essential that all riders, supporters and followers respect the Covid Guidance and adhere to any instructions issued by the Hunt Officials on the day.
As you can appreciate, these are sensitive times and our conduct must take the above into consideration, as well as minimising the risk of spreading Covid-19.
All attendees must undertake a self-assessment for Covid-19 symptoms prior to booking in or attending any event. If you or someone in your household has any symptoms of Covid-19 you must not participate in our gatherings for 14 days.
No individuals traveling from, or through, a lockdown area will be able to participate until such lockdown has been lifted.
Face Masks and Hand Sanitising gel must be carried by every individual for use in the event of an emergency where social distancing is not possible.
Booking in and payment in advance is mandatory BY EMAIL ONLY to [email protected]
BOOKING IN/PAYMENT:- There will be no capping on the day
We are running a first come first served booking in process which can only be done via email. Once you have requested a place, you will be emailed pre-payment details and a current Disclaimer/Covid Track and Trace document, which you will need to print, complete and bring with you on the day. This will serve as your booking confirmation and must be handed in on arrival. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY WITHOUT IT. Track and Trace information will be held for 21 days as per government requirements.
TRAVELLING AND PARKING:-
We would ask, where possible that you come alone to minimise numbers, however if you are unable to do so, please ask your guest/s to maintain a 2 metre distance from anyone outside of your household, at all times.
We will ensure that ample parking facilities are available so please ensure you park appropriately.
Riders must follow the insturctions of the Field Master and respect social disctancing at all times, this includes members of the same family group! Please stay side by side or behind one another, not face to face, remember to also maintain the appropriate distance at gateways or jumps!
We would request that any young rider is sufficiently competent to handle their horse or pony. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an appropriate mounted adult.
If you wish to follow in a vehicle, we request that you make yourself known to the Car Followers Covid Compliance Officer, who will be required to take your Track and Trace details on the day. Travel only with members of your own household, and socially distance at all times. Should an emergency situation arises, we would ask that you wear the appropriate face covering, and sanitize your hands or wear appropriate gloves, before offering assistance. Thank you for your understanding.
In these fast changing and unprecedented times, it may be necessary to change or cancel an event at short notice (or restrict numbers participating) if additional local restrictions are put in place. Please check communications regularly and follow instructions as applicable.
If you have booked in but cannot make the event, please notify us as soon as possible.
We will be unable to wait for late arrivals.
This Season we will be unable to extend our usual hospitality. We are as disappointed as everyone else about this but current guidelines do not allow refreshements to be provided.
If you are unsure about any of the above guidelines or have any queries relating to joining us this season, please do not hesitate to contact the Honorary Secretary on 07971 171078 or email
We look forward to getting going again and seeing as many of you as possible and will ensure we are doing everything we can to adhere to Government Guidelines, so please be patient with us.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
