Covid-19 Secure Guidelines

The Hunting Office has circulated advice to Hunts on how the 2021 Season can continue, in a safe and socially responsible manner, whilst operating within the current Government Guidelines.

It is essential that all everyone respects the Covid Guidance and adhere to any instructions issued by the Hunt Officials on the day.

As you can appreciate, these are sensitive times and our conduct must take the above into consideration, as well as minimising the risk of spreading Covid-19.

If you or someone in your household has any symptoms of Covid-19 you cannot participate for 14 days.

Face Masks and Hand Sanitising gel must be carried by every individual for use in the event of an emergency where social distancing is not possible.

BOOKING IN/PAYMENT:- There will be no capping on the day

Booking in and payment in advance is required. EMAIL ONLY to [email protected]

We are running a first come first served booking in process which can only be done via email. Your booking in form will serve as your confirmation as well as Track and Trace information. Information will be held for 21 days as per government requirements, then destroyed.

We would ask, you minimise numbers of attendees. However we cannot assist with holding horses, helping people to load or mount so please ensure you have a person from your household on hand to help you. Please maintain a 2 metre distance from anyone outside of your household, at all times.

We will do our best to ensure that ample parking facilities are available so please ensure you park appropriately.

Riders must follow the instructions of the Field Master and respect social distancing at all times, this includes members of the same family group! Please stay side by side or behind one another, not face to face, remember to also maintain the appropriate distance at gateways or jumps!

We would request that any young rider is either familiar with bloodhounding or riding in large groups; is sufficiently competent to handle their horse or pony alone.  Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an appropriate mounted adult who, if not a parent or guardian,  is happy to sign a disclaimer taking full responsibility.

If you wish to follow in a vehicle, we request that you remain on the public highway at all times. Travel only with members of your own household, and stay in your vehicle, should you get out for any reason, remain socially distanced at all times. Should an emergency situation arises, and you are willing to help, we would ask that you wear the appropriate face covering, and sanitize your hands or wear gloves, before offering assistance.

It may be necessary to change or cancel an event at short notice or restrict numbers participating. Please check communications regularly and follow instructions as applicable.

If you have booked in but cannot make the event, please notify us as soon as possible by text to 07971171078 or email.

We will be unable to wait for late arrivals.

This Season we will be unable to serve refreshments.

If you are unsure about any of the above guidelines or have any queries relating to joining us this season, please do not hesitate to contact the Honorary Secretary on 07971 171078 or email

[email protected]

We will ensure we are doing everything we can to adhere to Government Guidelines.

Please be patient with us.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
